Hotel De Karon

Staying in the town yet close to the beach was delightful. There are nice restaurants just opposite the hotel to watch football games, and the location is great for shopping. the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast had a variety of options, and the beach towels provided were handy.

The shower temperature was difficult to regulate, either scalding hot or too cold.

The hotel offered a great location, just a short walk from the beach. There was a friendly and helpful staff that provided a breakfast during our stay. the large fridge in the room was a great feature.

The hotel was noisy with live music venues under or near the hotel that played loudly until late at night. the Wi-Fi was also poor and the cockroach problem was alarming.

The room was very clean.The breakfast was hearty and good! A 10 min-walk from the beach

The receptionist wasn't friendly. quite expensive, but ok for Karon beach.

Location - In the Heart of karon - Clean,decent size rooms and balcony (if you have that option)value you money with good wifi,aircon and a full size fridge to store your on drinks and food - Daily house keeping and friendly staff - everything you could possibly need in the area is seconds to minutes away.

Everything is a little dated at the hotel (but clean) Karon is very quiet and slow compared to Patong so if your looking for big banging nights out you won't find it in Karon

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonably priced rooms and a big breakfast to start your day. The staffs are attentive and eager to please, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, as it is situated almost in the center of all the action, with the beach, girly bars, and shopping areas just a short walk away. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds and some even offer amazing views.

There was nothing that I felt needed improvement during my stay at this hotel.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

I was paying for a deluxe room but they were trying to give me a regular room with balcony seating area as a result I had to leave the room in one day

I booked the room 3month in advance when I reached there they said me they are over booked and don't have the deluxe room

pets like ugly dogs with diseases are roaming around in the dining area and i feel yuk to eat there.I booked the balcony room,but they given me without it in first day,but i complained about it,then later they arranged the balcony room after 1 hour.frequently hot water wont come,i have to complaint,then staff will come to room and check and i have to wait for hot water for around 10min with towel in bathroom.

This hotel was great! The location is very convenient as it is close to the beach and almost in the center of town. the staff were helpful and accommodating. They provided me with clean towels every day and even let me borrow beach towels. The air conditioning in the room was effective but not noisy, and the bed was large and comfortable.

Very good value for money. Good room. Spacious, clean, good shower. Make sure you have a room on the mountain side of the hotel. Streetview rooms have a lot of noise from the bars etc, especially on friday and saturday. Breakfast simple but OK. From 7 till noon! Nice staf. Close to Karon beach... But Kata beach is much more beautiful ;-)
